Why is in-work poverty on the rise?

The number of working people living in poverty has risen sharply over the past 25 years, driven in part by higher rents and slower wage growth, research from the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) has revealed.

Electric wheelchair appeal

Donation to Zoe’s Place baby Hospice

Christopher Wegg a Gmb member and CIT driver at G4S Teeside ran the Great North Run in just over 2 hours and raised over £600 for “Zoe’s Place” baby Hospice. He is pictured handing over a donation of £250 from the Gmb Scottish Security & Aviation Branch towards his total.
